1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information when you use Quick Watch:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password, and profile details.

• Childcare Details: Scheduling information, childcare requests, and preferences you provide to Watchers.

• Payment Information: Payment card details, billing address, and transaction history (processed securely by third-party payment providers).

• Background Check Information: If a Parent requests a background check, information required for that process (e.g., date of birth, social security number) will be collected and submitted to our background check partner.

• Communications: Messages, images, videos, and other content shared through in-app chat or profile postings.

• Device & Usage Information: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and activity within the Platform.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Facilitate connections between Parents and Sitters.

• Enable scheduling, in-app messaging, and childcare confirmations.

• Process payments and maintain financial records.

• Provide background check services (with consent).

• Monitor and improve Platform performance and security.

• Enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data Retention & Ownership

• We reserve the right to retain and store any content uploaded, including chat messages, images, videos, and profile information, as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations.

• Even if you delete your account, certain records (such as payment history and background check results) may be kept for compliance purposes.

We may share information in the following ways:

• With Sitters/Parents: To allow for communication, scheduling, and childcare arrangements.

• With Service Providers: For payment processing, background checks, customer support, analytics, and cloud hosting.

• For Legal & Safety Reasons: If required by law, regulation, or court order, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or Quick Watch.

• In Business Transfers: If Quick Watch is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred.

 

5. Background Checks

Parents may request background checks on Sitters through our third-party provider. Quick Watch does not store sensitive identifiers (e.g., Social Security Numbers) directly, but may receive background check status and results.

 

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of payment data and restricted access to user information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

7. Children’s Privacy

Quick Watch is intended for use by adults (Parents and Sitters). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

 

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, update, or delete your account information.

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

• Opt out of certain communications.

• Request deletion of chat content or uploaded media (subject to retention obligations).
